The basics on solar road markers

Besides the choice of red or orange colored lights,
there are basically two types of solar road markers
that we have available; those that flash with LEDs
on two sides of the solar road marker, and those
that flash only on one side of the solar marker. 
The ones that flash on one side only have a
reflector strip on the other side. Knowing these
differences will help when selecting
which lights are best for your project.

All of these solar road markers all have a solar
panel on top that automatically switches on the flashing
of the LED lights when the sun goes down.  The
lights are turned off in the morning.  These
products are made in the U.S.A.; that means
durability and long lasting quality.

     

The markers are permanently bonded to the road by a strong waterproof polymer.  The hazard light is bright and visible in rain and fog. The markers are very tough. The amber or red lights act like a reflector when headlights shine on them as well.

The lights above are divided into "Single-Sided LEDs" (left side) and "Double-Sided LEDs" (on right).  Single-sided
means only one side flashes at night.   Single-sided LEDs are typically faced toward oncoming cars or pedestrian
trafic...   Double-sided LEDs means that both sides of the marker flash.  The rate of flashing is 60-80 times
p/ minute.
