General Shipping / Ordering / Refund Information
Shipping / Ordering: We use PayPal for handling the payment process,
this way the records are kept accurate by a third party finance company and
we do not handle or see the buyer's credit card. In most cases the shipping
process we use for our on-line store is set up to ship priority (with
heavier items parcel post). As of now we are set up to ship the
contiguous United States only. This is because shipping heavy
items can be expensive. However, if you live in Hawaii or Alaska or an
American territory, please email us... we can arrange a shipment.
(for exceptions, see below).
Note: shipments might be delayed due to weather or other contingencies
which we have no control over. PayPal is an independent company - we use
their services and are not affiliates. For information re PayPal, contact
them at www.paypal.com.
Handling/shipping charges apply to all purchases.
To arrive at the total price we take the cost of shipping (through either
www.ups.com,
www.fedex.com or the U.S. Post Office
www.usps.com); and add this to the cost of handling, the box, time and
packing material. Note: We typically put a signature release on the
package so that we know it gets to you.
Want your item sent to
another address? Fine... just let us know the ship-to address by a phone
call or email.
Where in the U.S. do we ship to? We automatically ship per Pay
Pal to all contiguous U.S. addresses that the are listed by the U.S. Post
Office - and ground delivery (parcel post) unless noted. The payment system
is notcurrently set up for those living outside the contiguous
U.S.A., so that we can monitor shipping costs better. Please e-mail or call
us first if you live in one of the non-contiguous U.S. places below (or our
neighbors to north and south, like Canada and Mexico, etc.). This way we
can calculate the shipping ahead of time. Questions?

Refund information:
This is the Return Policy* for
most of our products. Our products are made by manufacturing companies; we
are a licensed retailer and fall under all laws of California re sales and
refunds of products. For more information, call the Consumer Information

If you are not fully satisfied with your item(s), please return within 30
days of the delivery date. We ask customers to pay for the shipping of the
product back to us (in original box). We do not refund after 30 days. After receiving the
product in the same condition as when we sent the item, we will then refund
your payment via PayPal.
Conditions: The returned product
must be in new, unused condition, in the original box with complete the
documentation, parts and accessories to receive full refund. "New and
unused" means sale-able condition. We cannot accept returns for an item
that is broken by the customer or has been tampered with. Return shipping
costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is has been damaged
in shipping, or has been found to be defective. Please notify us
immediately if the shipper has damaged the product in route to your home, or
if you have a defective product.
If you have any questions about
these policies as they relate to your order, please call us before we ship
the product as once it leaves the warehouse we have incurred our cost.
Damaged or Defective Items If your order arrives at your door damaged,
broken or defective, we will either replace the broken parts if possible or
ship out a new one in accordance with the shipping company's policies and
the manufacturer's return policies. Requests for replacement parts will be
processed as quickly as possible. Please note that we are not able to
express ship any replacement pieces (unless customer agrees to pay for extra
shipping costs).
Credit and Return Time - Note that it takes
about 10 business days for us to receive the returned or exchanged product
back from you. You will receive an e-mail that reflects that your payment
has been refunded through PayPal. Segue to Solar reserves the right to
cancel any customer's order due to price changes, typos, pricing errors,
ommissions, mistakes, or other reasons. If a customer has overpaid for
shipping we will return a payment for appropriate shipping and handling. We
never sell or give any customer's information to any third party. We
respect the customer's privacy. We never have access to credit card
information used in the purchase of products; since that information is
within the account you established with PayPal on your own. Please contact
PayPal (at www.paypal.com) for any questions about your transaction. * Some
of our products that use sophisticated electronics and solar technology may
have a different return policy than above. based on the manufacturer's
policy.
Want faster shipping?
Call or e-mail us before making your
on-line purchase with Pay-Pal if you want shipping faster than "ground"
(ground is usually about two to three days, maybe 4, depending on how far
you are away from delivery routes). This will give us time to modify the
order and send you the recalculated amount. We try to charge a minimal and
competitive amount for the box and handling.
To pay
by check: Please call or e-mail us with your
desired product item(s) -- and we'll let you know the total with
shipping/handling applied for your location. Just send the check
(written to a U.S. bank or postal money order) to our address above...
International
Orders:
The
PayPal credit payment method that handles payments has been set so that we
do not at this time accept orders from non-U.S. credit card holders, merely
for shipping reasons (shipping would be costly). If you are
ordering from an international address, please e-mail us first with the
order (enclosing all the particulars of your order). Shipping has been
found to be expensive to some countries, and we do not want to ship without
letting the party know the amount in advance. If you are
overseas volunteering, in the U.S. Armed Forces, please let us know the
ship-to address for packages.
Want your package sent to another address? Fine... let us know the
ship-to address with a phone call or email.
